SECURITY & DATA

Security and data handling

TASKBOT is designed to process only the information needed for task management. It is currently an MVP in a testing phase. Please contact us before use if your organization requires formal audits or service guarantees.

Current service scope

TASKBOT currently focuses on personal and community-run Discord servers. We apply basic security controls, but this is not yet an enterprise service that guarantees third-party certification, an SLA, 24/7 monitoring, or customer-specific audits.

01

Information we store

We store the task message content (up to 200 characters), a link to the source message, relevant server, channel, message and user IDs, assignees, target users, due dates, notification times, status and server settings as needed.

02

Information we do not normally store

We do not store complete ordinary conversations, voice or video content, Discord passwords, bot tokens, or payment card information as TASKBOT task data.

03

Usage analytics

We aggregate events such as task creation, configuration, completion and reminders to improve the service. Server IDs used for analytics are hashed, and message text or usernames are not used as analytics metrics.

04

Retention and deletion

Completed tasks are generally retained for 90 days. When the bot is removed from a server, related data is generally deleted after 30 days. Minimum information may be retained when required for legal compliance or abuse prevention.

05

Discord permissions

We configure permissions needed to provide the bot functions. Server administrators can limit access through dedicated channels and role settings. Please review the permissions shown by Discord before installation.

06

Security controls and contact

We apply access controls, data minimization and retention rules appropriate to the current scale and risk. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Contact us about organizational reviews, deletion requests or security concerns.
